Low Raisgill is a remote 17th Century stone farm cottage in Upper Wharfedale. The house has magnificent views across the dale towards Yockenthwaite Farm, one of the locations for the filming of the current TV series of James Herriot's "All Creatures Great and Small".
Situated 2.5 miles from Buckden village between the hamlets of Hubberholme and Yockenthwaite, Low Raisgill is 5 minutes walk from the bridge at Yockenthwaite and The Dales Way.
Guests who stay here will enjoy the quietness of a landscape that has changed little over the years; the call of the curlews in spring, lambing in April, the summer hay meadows and under the winter skies the Milky Way can still be seen.
Leave your boots at the door, coats by the boiler and experience excellent hospitality in our beautifully renovated home.
We look forward to welcoming you.
